ACIM Lesson 50: I am sustained by the Love of God.
I am sustained by the Love of God.
Today’s Lesson reminds me that I have been putting my faith in illusions – money, job titles, popularity, clothing and a whole host of meaningless things that the ego (data) holds dear.
And while focussing on the meaningless I have failed to put my faith in the one place that can truly sustain me: the Love of God.
Only the Love of God can lift me into peace of mind and keep me there. Nothing of this world can do that no matter how many claims it may make to the contrary.
So today I will meditate on the fact that I can trust God’s Love and that It will “… resolve all seeming difficulties without effort and in sure confidence.”
That’s the kind of guarantee I like!
Whenever I am tempted to put my faith in the idols of the world – the money or the job or whatever – I will bring myself back to reality by repeating the key phrases of Ho’oponopono:
I love you. I’m sorry. Forgive me. Thank you.
Peace is what I want and the Love of God can give it to me.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
“I am sustained by the Love of God. I love you, I’m sorry, Forgive me, Thank you.”
