ACIM Lesson 192: I have a function God would have me fill.
Lesson 192: I have a function God would have me fill.
Forgiveness is my function here. It is the means by which I can let the illusions go.
It is the means by which all fear can be laid aside.
It is the means by which my mind will realise this body, in which it resides, is not its actual home or my ‘self’.
It is the means by which the peace that passes all understanding can become attainable.
It is therefore only right that moment-by-moment I repeat the key words of Ho’oponopono:
I love you. I’m sorry. Forgive me. Thank you.
… that I may be born again in Christ and see with the eyes of Divinity. This is what Ho’oponopono offers us. To look, speak and act in the world as Divinity would have us do. To, in the tenets of the Course, bring loving thoughts with us wherever we go.
In the words of a famous prayer: ‘lead me not into temptation’! Let me put my grievances aside and instead forgive, that I, my memories and the world at large can be free.
I will forgive my brother today. I will not hold him prisoner. In doing so I also forgive myself that we may both be free, for I am one with him.
“I have a function God would have me fill. I love you, I’m sorry, Forgive me, Thank you”
