Truth will correct all errors in my mind.

This Lesson asks a very important question: “Can you imagine what a state of mind without illusions (data) is? How would it feel?”

I’m then asked to think of a time when even for just a second, I felt completely at peace. Well, in my case, that time was when I was living in Tallinn, Estonia. I’d just stepped out of my apartment onto Rataskaevu Street, it was a beautiful warm, sunny, spring day… and it just hit me! This intense feeling of joy, peace, happiness! A feeling that right then, anything was possible for me. A satori moment indeed!

That’s the good news.

The bad news is, that was nearly 20 years ago! Ha! I did come close to it about ten years ago, so by that reckoning I think I’m due another hit of Divine Inspiration!

Anyway, I’m grateful for that memory that has stuck in my mind and brought a smile to my face after all these years.

The Course then invites me to “… picture what it would be like to have that moment be extended to the end of time and to eternity” and multiply it a hundred times and then a hundred more.

Yes please! I’d never worry, fear, complain, judge or let the data (illusions) get in the way again!

This is the gift that truth brings. It will surely undo all the pain and fear I clung to as I took the difficult road of trudging through the illusions of the world.

Every hour today I will endeavour to remember that flash of Divinity on Rataskaevu Street and I will give thanks for it with the key words of Ho’oponopono as I say:

I love you. I’m sorry. Forgive me. Thank you.

And I might just follow it up with my new favourite prayer:

Thank you. May God’s Will be done.

And if His Will is truth and untold happiness for me, I’m all for it!
