ACIM Lesson 108: To give and to receive are one in truth.

To give and to receive are one in truth.

The crux of this Lesson is this:

Today we will attempt to offer peace to everyone and see how quickly peace returns to us.”

And I will remember this: “I will receive what I am giving now.”

So the question is this: I am giving peace or judgement? I am speaking from Inspiration or the data?

This is the Law of Cause and Effect demonstrated beautifully.

And if I could offer peace, what else could I send out to everyone so that I might experience it myself? Perfect health? Happiness? Success? Abundance? Creative and fulfilling work?

Hmm, there’s a lot more I could add to that list.

I could also just clean without any particular outcome in mind, just trusting the Divine to bring all of us whatever is best for us in the moment. That’s what Ho’oponopono is basically about.

There is no harm in repeating the key words of Ho’oponopono:

I love you. I’m sorry. Forgive me. Thank you.

… with no particular agenda. As ‘Ihaleakalā would say, “Just get to the cleaning!” When I do Ho’oponopono I have no idea what’s being transmuted and made right. I’ll leave that to the intelligence that creates worlds!

And because I have no idea what’s ‘right’ for me or you in the grand scheme of things I’m more than willing to leave it in the hands of the Divine Creator and at the very least just say: Thank you. May God’s Will be done.

“To give and to receive are one in truth. I love you, I’m sorry, Forgive me, Thank you.”
