ACIM Lesson 289: The past is over. It can touch me not.
The past is over. It can touch me not.
Motto alert!
This is another Lesson that really sticks in my mind.
I cannot see clearly with Divine sight if the past in any way remains alive in my mind.
Any memories or data replaying point to the past. If I am at peace, at zero, with no memories replaying, I am in the present, the only time there is.
As the Course says, ‘For what can be forgiven but the past, and if is it forgiven it is gone’.
Now that is a goal worth aiming for!
And the easiest way to forgive the past? Simple. I will repeat the key words of Ho’oponopono on a tape loop:
I love you. I’m sorry. Forgive me. Thank you.
I will not entertain the past today! God has planned the end of all my dreams and pain. Why would I delay my acceptance of Heaven?
“The past is over. It can touch me not. I love you. I’m sorry. Forgive me. Thank you.”
