ACIM Lesson 34: I could see peace instead of this.

I could see peace instead of this.

Today’s Lesson reminds me that peace of mind is an inside job.

If my thoughts (causes) create my ‘reality’ (effects) it goes without saying I need to be focussing on peace of mind if I wish to experience a peaceful perception of the world.

If only there weren’t so may troubling people and situations to distract me!

Can you relate?

Today I will allow my thoughts – the memories replaying – to bubble up as they will. And I will thank them for an opportunity to clean so that I – and they – can be free.

If I get stuck on a particular feeling or thought, the Course advises me to address it in the following way:

“I can replace my feelings of depression, anxiety or worry [or my thoughts about this situation, personality or event] with peace”

… and I can then clean it straight away with the key words of Ho’oponopono:

I love you. I’m sorry. Forgive me. I’m grateful.

Here once again, ACIM and Ho’oponopono are in alignment. Both invite me to choose peace of mind, to get back to Divine Inspiration rather than get caught up and mired in a hell of my own making.

As ‘Ihaleakalā would ask: What is hell?

Answer: thinking!

All I want to do is get back to Inspiration as quickly as possible. I will remind myself to do that today and focus on my desire for peace.

Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me!

“I could see peace instead of this. I love you, I’m sorry, Forgive me, I’m grateful.”
