ACIM Lesson 44: God is the light in which I see.

God is the light in which I see.

The Course today asks me to recognize that light is within and it is with this inner light that I see truly.

It is my mind that sees. If I will let it, it has the potential to see clearly because, after all, God is in my mind.

Today I am invited to leave behind all the thoughts – the data – I have made up and accumulated from everyone and everywhere since the beginning of creation.

It is the thoughts, the data, that are keeping me in hell. As ‘Ihaleakalā would say, thinking is hell. And most of the time I am not seeing clearly because it is the data in me, the thoughts in my mind that are viewing the world and perceiving it as a place of separation. I am not seeing through the light of the Divine at all!

In Ho’oponopono we ask: what is a problem?

Answer: A problem is a memory, a thought, replaying. If we can clean it and ask Divinity to transmute it, we can be free and see clearly as God intended.

This is what I want today.

I want to get out of hell and see the light! I am attempting once again to reach God.

I will repeat today’s idea and then retreat within, sinking gently down past all the thoughts that will attempt to keep me in the past or future. When such thoughts arise I will repeat to them the key words of Ho’oponopono:

I love you. I’m sorry. Forgive me. Thank you.

… and then continue to focus on God being the light in which I see.

Today’s exercises should be quite relaxing as I glide gently by all that has caused me pain towards a light that is “… formless and without limit.”

Therein lies the peace of God.

“God is the light in which I see. I love you, I’m sorry, Forgive me, Thank you.”
