ACIM Lesson 158: Today I learn to give as I receive.

Today I learn to give as I receive.

Today’s Lesson reminds me of the illusions of the world.

The illusion that time is ‘real’.

The illusion that I am separate from other people.

The illusion that ‘evil’ can exist when love is all there is.

Let me see the light in everyone and everything today. Let me not confuse a brother’s physical body for what he really is.

I will look past the body to the light within for in him I see myself.

If I perceive my brother as a sinner, so I condemn myself. Instead I will “Greet him as the Son of God he is, acknowledging that he is one with you in holiness”.

Remembering his holiness can be difficult in this world of the physical. And this is why I need to keep cleaning. His ‘sins’ are merely the data replaying and if I’m aware of them, it’s up to me to do something about it!

He is forever perfect.

And so, I will keep repeating the key words of Ho’oponopono:

I love you. I’m sorry. Forgive me. Thank you.

… that I might offer that forgiveness to him and so receive it myself.

A wise man once said “Judge not, that ye not be judged”.

I will remember that today as I choose to see my brother as he really is.

“Today I learn to give as I receive. I love you, I’m sorry, Forgive me, Thank you.”
