ACIM Lesson 170: There is no cruelty in God and none in me.

There is no cruelty in God and none in me.

This Lesson points out the obvious truth that should I attack even in self-defence, I am under the illusion that cruelty is protection.

This is the illusion of separation at its most egotistical height.

I will accept no idols today. The Course is clear that God loves me unconditionally. I have nothing to fear. That all fear is unjustified. And I am entitled to miracles.

If God were truly a God of vengeance the miraculous would not be possible. But instead He says “give your vengeances to me and I will deal with them”.

In the introduction to the Course I am told:

Nothing real can be threatened.

Nothing unreal exists.

Herein lies the peace of God.”

Only love is real. Vengeance and cruelty are not love and therefore not real. It is the memories and the data replaying that continuously try to convince me they are. This is why the cleaning can never stop and I will therefore repeat once again the key words of Ho’oponopono:

I love you. I’m sorry. Forgive me. Thank you.

Today I am praying for a miracle, that the Vision of Christ will be given me that I may bless the world.

“There is no cruelty in God and none in me. I love you, I’m sorry, Forgive me, Thank you.”
