ACIM Lesson 186: Salvation of the world depends on me.

Quite simply, this is my function here – and yours – as assigned by God Himself. As there is only one of us here, this work belongs to all of us.

And the good news is that God will let me know how He would like me to fulfil my part… and He’ll give you the nod as well. But will we let Him? The choice is ours.

Today I am willing to hear. As it says in Conversations With God, the call is going out all the time. It isn’t a matter of who God is willing to talk to, it’s actually a matter of who is willing to listen and act.

Today I am willing! If this is the role that God Himself has chosen for me, who am I to say that it’s too much or too little for me?

I know that if He asks me to do something He will give me the strength and wisdom to do it perfectly.

All I have to do is listen.

And should the arrogance of the data try to convince me to forget it, that I am not worthy of the task, I will immediately repeat the key words of Ho’oponopono:

I love you. I’m sorry. Forgive me. Thank you.

… and remember that forgiveness of myself is an integral part of the process. I am sorry for whatever it is in me that has contributed to my detachment from You.

I am sorry for whatever it is in me that has contributed to a situation with another that somehow causes pain.

I will remember that “Salvation of the world depends on you who can forgive” and Ho’oponopono is the perfect forgiveness prayer.

“Salvation of the world depends on me. I love you, I’m sorry, Forgive me, Thank you.”
