ACIM Lesson 15

My thoughts are images I have made.

I can ‘see’ through the body’s eyes, experience in my mind the image so created and then create a thought about it. This, ACIM says, is not seeing at all, it is merely image-making.

What I am trying to achieve with these Lessons is true Vision, with a capital ‘V’.

ACIM makes an interesting point here, that I will know true Vision is on its way to me when I begin to notice “little edges of light around the same familiar objects” that I see now.

I clearly have a lot of work to do! I can’t see those lights… yet!

However, I can try to speed up the process by cleaning the images my eyes make so that Vision can begin to come through.

To that end, I will look about me and noticing each ‘thing’ I will say:

“This [cup] is an image I have made. I love you. I’m sorry. Forgive me. I’m grateful.”
