ACIM Lesson 16

I have no neutral thoughts.

The idea for today reminds me that any thought that crosses my mind is either ‘true’ or ‘false’. Either way, they will create in their own image.

And the thing to remember about all this is that it is therefore impossible for me to have an ‘idle thought’. Every thought I think is creating form on some level. All I need to do is look around me to see what kind of world my thoughts have created for me!

So where does Ho’oponopono come in?

Well, I’ve come to the conclusion that focussing on the cleaning tools is a great way of staying present in the moment and doing something constructive.

To think about the cleaning tools ‘moment to moment’ keeps me in a more positive place than I would be if I just let my mind go wild!

So Ho’oponopono is a great form of meditation for me.

But as I work through today’s Lesson, I can of course combine the cleaning with the words put forth by ACIM:

“This thought about __________ is not a neutral thought. I love you, I’m sorry, Forgive me, I’m grateful.”

“That thought about __________ is not a neutral thought. I love you, I’m sorry, Forgive me, I’m grateful.”

… and then carry on as I was.

As the thoughts are cleaned my world can only get better. Whether the thoughts seem good or bad is irrelevant. Ultimately they are all the same.

I will take a deep breath and remember:

I love you, I’m sorry, Forgive me, Thank you!
