ACIM Lesson 18

I am not alone in experiencing the effects of my seeing.

This Lesson introduces me to the idea that ‘all minds are joined’.

If I was with you, we could both look at a table, for example, and find some aspects of it that we can both agree on and perhaps some that we can’t.

This doesn’t make either of us ‘right’ or ‘wrong’. It all depends on what’s going on in the ‘engine room’ – the mind – the creator of the thoughts that we have about tables based on our past experiences and sensory perceptions.

I will therefore look around me again today and as I notice each object or person I will say:

“I am not alone in experiencing the effects of how I see [this table].”

And I will then endeavour to cut whatever cords bind it to me and everyone else by saying to it the key phrases of Ho’oponopono:

I love you, I’m sorry, Forgive me, I’m grateful.

In this way, true Vision becomes increasingly possible.
