ACIM Lesson 48: There is nothing to fear.

There is nothing to fear.

Motto alert!

After you’ve been studying the Course for a while, some of the daily ideas just stick in your head.

This, for me, is one of those sticky ideas!

Do not be fooled by the brevity of this Lesson if you’re following along with the Course.

I no longer want to believe in illusions. And it is believing in the illusions of the world that keep me in hell. It is believing in the illusions of the world that keep me in fear.

Fear is a sign I am relying on my own strength – bad idea!

Any form of fear or negative thing is merely the data, the memories replaying, that are intent on keeping me in hell. But with God’s help, I can free myself. I can clean.

As often as possible today I will simply repeat the idea to myself and follow up with the key words of Ho’oponopono:

I love you. I’m sorry. Forgive me. Thank you.

At my core I am perfect. The other person is perfect. The situation is perfect. Nothing can harm me. There is nothing to fear when I remind myself that only love exists and only love is real.

So instead, today, as soon as anything disturbs me, I will remind myself that I want to be free and say to it:

“There is nothing to fear. I love you, I’m sorry, Forgive me, Thank you.”
