ACIM Lesson 55: Review of Lessons 21-25

Review of Lessons 21-25

Idea 21: I am determined to see things differently.

The world is full of images and stories of war, death, suffering, hunger… and on and on and on. This surely cannot be what God had in store for me, for all of us? Of course not. The data that is clouding my sight has obscured my understanding of God, everyone else down here and myself. Today I want to see. I will clean, clean, clean that the truth be revealed!

“I love you, I’m sorry, Forgive me, Thank you.”

Idea 22: What I see is a form of vengeance.

These attack thoughts of war, death, suffering, hunger and everything else is the complete opposite of the Love of God. I will clean my attack thoughts, the data, that keeps me in hell. I will clean my perception of the world and go straight for the Peace of God.

“I love you, I’m sorry, Forgive me, Thank you.”

Idea 23: I can escape from this world by giving up attack thoughts.

Ho’oponopono is about forgiveness. And as “… forgiveness allows love to return to my awareness…” I will find the world I seek. With renewed hope and optimism and joy I will say:

“I love you, I’m sorry, Forgive me, Thank you.”

Idea 24: I do not perceive my best interests.

If I am confused about who I am, how can I possibly know what is best for me? Of the millions and millions of bits of information surrounding me every second I’m only consciously aware of about 40 – if that! So today I will clean on that, asking for forgiveness for putting my trust where it was not warranted and ask that the Holy Spirit shows me the way.

“I love you, I’m sorry, Forgive me, Thank you.”

Idea 25: I do not know what anything is for.

I am trying to prove my own reality by using the people, places and circumstances of my life to somehow provide some meaning. This, however, is not the real purpose of the world. Today I want to find out what its real purpose is. And I will clean, using the key phrases of Ho’oponopono to begin to learn the truth:

“I love you, I’m sorry, Forgive me, Thank you.”
