The 3 questions to ask yourself if you’re stuck in a financial rut

Are you stuck?

Are you paralysed by fear?

Do you know something needs to change in your financial life but you just don’t know where to start?

You’re not alone.

I’ve been there.

And I can also tell you that the life you secretly dream about is out there.

It’s just waiting for you to catch up with it!

And the reason why you seem to be lagging behind is not because you don’t want it badly enough, it’s because your mind is not on the same wavelength of the outcome you’re after.

Ask and it is given!

The aim of this post is to get you moving in the right direction vibrationally so that where you currently are gradually transforms into where you want to be.

Sound good?

Good!

Grab a pen and paper so you can take notes and let’s go on a little journey of discovery…

1. What if I could __________?

Such an important question!

Fill in the blank with the desired outcome you’d like to achieve. For example:

  • What if you could… double your income this year and every year until you are earning a minimum of £xxx, xxx per year?
  • What if you could… start your own successful business?
  • What if you could… do creative and fulfilling work that you love?

If the idea to do a particular thing is in your mind, it follows that somewhere in your mind are the resources to help you achieve it.

Otherwise, it wouldn’t be in your mind!

Now, it may be that you have what Gary Craig would call a tail-ender.

A ‘yeah, but…’ that creates the excuses as to why you couldn’t.

In Ho’oponopono the excuses are memories replaying in your subconscious. But while they’re in there, they will keep you struck right where you are.

So, as you think about what would happen if you could double your income this year, write down all the positive outcomes you could experience from doing that – taking your family on a dream vacation, paying off your debts in full, creating a safe financial buffer – and notice if there any negative emotional shocks associated with it.

The reasons why it could never happen.

Maybe the voice in your head tells you you’re not good enough, not smart enough, not rich enough, not important enough.

Acknowledge these naysayers for what they are and tell me:

What if that was just a story?

(Which it is, albeit a very unhelpful one).

And then, as you feel the fear, anger, or whatever emotion bubbles up in relation to that story, start repeating the key cleaning words of Ho’oponopono:

“I love you. I’m sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you.”

These stories, these tail-enders, are your enemies! And as a great teacher once advised us:

“Love your enemies!”

And with Ho’oponopono you can literally love them to death!

The Ho’oponopono process petitions Divinity to transmute the stories to void so they can’t affect you any more.

You’ll be free and the stories will be free too.

It’s a win-win situation!

2. What would achieving this goal/dream say about you?

Now we’re moving towards a place where you’re open to the possibility that you could, if you did achieve your desired outcome, what would it say about you?

Who would you become if you doubled your income?

This can sometimes be scary because, as the successful person who’s achieved their goal, not everyone around you will be celebrating.

Even those who love you the most!

To some people it’s highly unsettling when someone close achieves great things, even if it’s something they’d like to do as well.

Depending on the size of the leap involved, it can be a stretch to metamorphosise, like a caterpillar to a butterfly, from the person you are now to the person you will need to be on the journey to the person you will eventually emerge as at the end of the process.

But at the very least I think it’s safe to say that achieving your dream would be expansive, creative and empowering.

It would set you aside as someone truly worthy and capable of doing amazing things.

And the good news is that if you can do it once… you can do it again!

T Harv Eker suggests that you should set the goal of doubling your income every year until you become a millionaire.

I think that’s a fine goal to have if you’re in the market for a big financial transformation.

He reckons you could do in three years or so if you’re really serious.

The trouble is, in the ‘normal’ world, no-one talks like that.

It’s comments like that that get the ‘yeah, buts…’ rising to the surface faster than a cork under water.

Well, as we learned in the previous section, you can deal with the stories, the fear, the emotions, with Ho’oponopono.

And you can also clean on the person you envisage that you are transitioning into as you embark on the journey.

Say it with me:

“I love you. I’m sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you.”

If it feels like a MASSIVE stretch from what you are earning right now… to earning double that in a year… you can, right now, take responsibility for your doubts and clean on them.

Your doubts are just your stories masquerading as self-love. Kick them to the kerb! Don’t fall for it!

And finally, consider this:

3. What are you capable of that you haven’t been giving yourself credit for?

Everyone on the planet is perfect with the power to create.

We are, we are told, created in the Creator’s image.

And the Creator loves nothing more than to create, create, create.

There is no lack, only abundance.

No judgement, only unconditional love.

No problems, only opportunities for growth.

And there’s going to have to be a fair bit of growth over the next few years if you’re going to put Harv’s challenge to the test!

But what if after that you never had to ‘work’ again – unless you wanted to?

At that point, I think the incentive to go for it becomes clear. After all, the time is going to pass anyway. Why not challenge yourself to a financial wager?

You cannot have got to this point in your life without achieving some pretty spectacular things.

And when you achieved them, did you just brush them off as ‘oh, it’s nothing’… or did you celebrate to the max?

I would recommend celebrating to the max right now your biggest and best achievements whether they’re out there in the public domain or just personal to you.

Living successfully alone and making the rent? Tick!

Raising a healthy and happy family? Tick!

Able to make the best chicken tikka masala in the world? Tick!

Whatever it is, make a list of those things.

Put on your favourite up-beat piece of music and shake that body, baby, while you whoop your successes and give yourself a high-five!

Maybe you were told not to make a fuss, to keep quiet, to not take up too much space.

Well, these are all memories replaying in the subconscious minds of whoever told you these things in the first place and now you’ve got ‘em in your subconscious.

So, what do you do?

Put Divinity first in your life and clean!

Sing it loud and proud with me:

“I love you! I’m sorry! Please forgive me! Thank you!”

Give yourself a little love and a big break.

You’re doing ok.

You’re still here playing your part and that’s FANTASTIC.

You have most definitely got this!

Just don’t forget to give yourself all the credit that’s due to you.

It’s time to take the next step and step up!

Imagine what it would be like to have your own successful business that provides time as well as money freedom…

Imagine where you’d be living and with whom if money was no longer an issue…

Imagine who you could help or support if you had enough money to ‘share and spare’…

Come on, tell me, what would all that be worth to you?

What would it enable you to start doing? Or stop doing?

You owe it to yourself to take the leap and get going. So right now, pick a goal to start progressing towards and start progressing towards it today!

But just one goal, please. You can diversify when you’ve got one idea up and running successfully but until then, pick one horse to ride, saddle up and get going!

Not tomorrow… right now.

What will happen if you don’t?
